Pre Care
- No caffeine or alcohol for 24 hours prior to the service
- If taking any blood thinning medication or supplements like fish oil, please stop for 7 days prior to the service
Post Care
Day 1 - Your brows will appear very dark and thicker that what they will heal to)
-with clean hands wash your brows with warm water and let it air dry
-Repeat 5 times every 30 minutes
-After the 5th time, stop washing and keep your brows dry
Day 2 - Until you’re done scabbing
While they are scabbing, they willl appear uneven depending on how heavy you are scabbing. Scabbing process is different for everyone so please wait until they’re fully healed)
-Keep your brows dry and avoid getting them wet - air dry if you get them wet on accident
-DO NOT PICK THE SCAB and let it naturally heal
-If you have dry skin, you may lightly apply ointment (aqua-hot or a&d) on the brows
Once you are done scabbing
-You can start washing your brows again
-Do not put any heavy skincare on the brows
When your brows are done scabbing, you will notice that your brows are very light. Depending on the skin, it looks like they are completely gone sometimes and that is normal. The color will slowly come back.
Please be patient and wait for your brows to heal. It takes 4-6 weeks for your brows to completely heal and we will not know the healed result until then.
We also cannot do a touch up on your brows until they are fully healed so please wait 6 weeks until you schedule your touch up.
When and how often you need a touch up
Touch up depends on the your skin and daily activities. You can come in for a touch up any time after the 6 week healing period. If you would like to make any changes to your brows (go darker, change the shape etc) you may come in.
Everyone’s skin is different, some clients will come in every 6 months or once a year. Your brows will look darker every touch up and will go through the same healing process.
Do I go through the same healing process after touch up?
- Yes you will go through the same healing process and will need to do the same aftercare.

What is microblading ?
Microblading is a semi permanent hair stroke tattoos created with manual blades. It adds very natural hair-like strokes to your existing brows to give them a fuller look.
What is microblading & shading?
Shading is added on top of microblading to add a fuller and defined look to the brows using a permanent makeup tattoo machine. Depending on your preference, we can add a natural shading look or more defined “makeup” like look.
What is ombré/powder brows?
Ombré/powder brows does not have any hair strokes. It is shading only on your brows and head starts out light and gradually gets darker at the tail to create the “ombré” look. Best for clients who wants a makeup look.
What is touch up?
Because it is a semi permanent tattoo, touch up is needed to maintain the look. Depending on your skin, daily activity, and how well you take care of your brows, you will need to come in for a touch up every 6 months to every year. Some may need a touch up at 6 weeks and some can wait up to 6 months. It also depends on personal preference (some prefer lighter natural look and some prefer fresh dark look)
How long does it last?
It can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years
Does it hurt?
Everyone has different pain tolerance. A topical anesthetic is used throughout the appointment.
How long does it take to heal?
Different artist will tell you different healing time. We like to have the client let their brows heal for 6 weeks. Surface of the brows will appear fully healed within 2 weeks but we like to wait for the skin underneath to heal longer to prevent ink from bleeding.
What can’t I do after the procedure?
Please keep your brows clean and dry! No sweating, no swimming, no tanning. Please let your brows naturally heal. Do not pick on them or put any makeup on them.
What if I have previous microblading/tattoo?
Unfortunately we do not work over other artists’ work. Please wait for them to completely fade to get a new set.
Do you shave my brows?
No we do not. We will only clean off brows that are outside of the shape we decide on.
What if I don’t like it?
We will work closely with you to ensure satisfaction. We allow for you to have as much control over the procedure and we will not work on you if you are not happy with the pre shaping which decides what shape you will get. If you are not 100% sure about receiving the procedure please opt out for a more temporary option.
